The High Meadows Graduate School is not accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Tuition
The Graduate School has a flat fee for completion of the program, rather than the tuition for only a semester or academic year, as you would find at other institutions. Tuition for the 2021 class has been set at $27,000.

Trustee Fellowship
To make teacher preparation more equitable, the HM Graduate Schools is offering a number of fully-funded fellowship for highly qualified teacher candidates enrolling in the 2021 class. The Trustee Fellowship covers the entire program tuition cost. 2021 teacher candidates will only be responsible for the $600 technology fee. All applicants will be considered for the merit-based award upon the submission of a completed HM Grad School application.
Financial Aid
Master’s candidates at the HM Graduate School do not qualify for federal student loans, but financial assistance is available for Graduate School students. All students applying for scholarship support from the Graduate School need to submit the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile application. The CSS Profile is processed by the College Board, which charges a fee for the Profile application. For more information, see the College Board’s CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE website.
Instructions for U.S. citizens and permanent residents:
- Apply online on the College Board’s website using the HM Graduate School’s CSS Code: 7245.
- The Graduate School receives your profile data electronically from CSS, so do not send copies of your application to the Graduate School.
Admissions Scholarships & Grants
The High Meadows Graduate School of Teaching and Learning offers both merit and need-based scholarships and grants. Students planning to apply for need-based grant are required to complete the CSS Profile per the instructions above.
HM Graduate School Opportunity Grant: This is a need-based grant and is awarded based on the student’s demonstrated financial need after all other forms of financial aid have been applied against the cost of tuition. The Opportunity Grant varies in amount depending on the student’s demonstrated need. Students wishing to apply must complete the CSS Profile.
HM Graduate School Educator Scholarship – $5,000: All students who apply by one of the stated priority deadlines will be considered for a HM Graduate School Educator Scholarship of $5,000 applied against the cost of tuition. The student’s academic record and application credentials are considered when determining a student’s eligibility for this scholarship. Students are notified of their eligibility for this scholarship at the time of acceptance.
HM Graduate School Partner Grant – $7,500: Students who have worked for one of the following organizations are eligible for this grant, which is applied against the cost of tuition.

- CityYear
Students are eligible for multiple scholarship and grant awards.
Loan Forbearance
As a new institution, the HM Graduate School is not yet accredited. As a consequence, teacher candidates are not eligible for subsidized federal loans or the deferment of undergraduate loans. HM Graduate School master’s candidates may be eligible for loan forbearance on existing student loans. To learn more about loan forbearance, click here.
